Not complete…but GOOD day. =)

Woke up. Went to SF…pace stuff…then Bayanihan Community Center for the “Let Our Voices Be Heard!” Event…Unfortunately I had to leave early for family affairs that night…[trying to be everywhere at once kind of thing]. It was great to see different orgs. coming together, and helping put the event together, supporting, and stepping it up. These are the things that spread awareness amongst our communities who have seemed to make-do with whatever bullshit is thrown at them, uplifting them and giving them a voice to express their thoughts, & opinions of the issues that directly or indirectly affect them. It was very rewarding to see the many strong, talented, & passionate people expressing themselves tonight, whether it was through song, or spokenword. [COME OUT TO BAYANIHAN MONDAY JUNE 22nd at 3pm, WE WILL ALL BE HEADING OUT TOGETHER TO SPEAK TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS & apparently THE MAYOR, ABOUT THE BUDGET CUTS & ITS AFFECT ON THE STUDENTS & THE VEC]

Anyway, getting home at around 10/1030ish, my brother decides lets go watch a movie. So we went to watch “The Hangover,” it was I think the funniest movie ever! Even when the movie ended I was still laughing…but to clarify why the title of this entry contains “not complete” is because there were moments of my day where I felt like something was missing, especially during this movie, as I was laughing like crazy there were moments, where my mind would stop to think that something was missing. It was a sad, and frustrating feeling but not enough to ruin the day, but instead just made it feel incomplete is all, empty at times you could say, but still overall it was a fun filled day, surrounded by things i love to do, and people i care about no matter where and what we are doing and that’s all that really matters.
